Aside from my paid gigs, I tend to keep pretty busy with my own shtuff. So here's what I'm up to. ![]() naked.jams is a video series that I am the creator/producer/director of. It's a collection of live-spot, single take, sessions that I shoot with local and touring acts. I'm always looking for talented acts to feature, so check out the site and submit if you're interested. ![]() naked.slams is a newly started spinoff of the naked.jams series. Big thanks to my friend and series co-producer/creator/director, Zac Whyte for getting the ball rolling and keeping it moving. ![]() I'm super excited to finally be underway on this project. It's been bouncing around inside my brain for years now. But it's time. "Together" is a documentary that takes a light hearted look at what it takes to stay in a long term relationship in today's world. We're currently searching for couples that have been married for 50+ years. If you know any that may be interested, please Contact Me. ![]() "release." is my latest short film I'm working on. For those that know me, it's probably no surprise that it's a dark-drama... this time, there's a bit of a supernatural twist thrown in. I've been floating this concept around for a while but I think it's finally taken shape enought to produce it. I recently got a very talented writer on board and hoping to shoot in the fall of 2010. I'm making a very concious effort to take my time with this project and make the best yet. Stay tuned! |

"The Piano Players Sister" Co-Director/Editor 2009 10 minutes starring Brandon James Mason and David Hamilton In my opinion, The Piano Player's Sister is my best work to date. It's a 10 minute dramatic short that I co-directed with John Gardiner. We won the 2010 VISFF's People's Choice Award, which was such an honour to receive. We managed to gather up a great group of people and put together a great piece in a short time with a budget of less than $200! We're working the festival circuit with this piece right now, so unfortunately, it can't be posted online. Once this years circuit is over it will definitely be posted. |

"gone." Director/DoP/Editor 2007 10 minutes starring Cory Monteith and Frederic Robinson "gone." was produced specifically for the VISFF as well. Frederic and I had worked on a pilot for a tv series starring up and coming actors and we had gotten to know Cory Moneith during that time, as we was to be one of the cast in the series. The series never made it into production but we were lucky enough that Cory agreed to star in our short film. He was a pleasure to direct and we're very proud to see what an incredible success he has built his career into. Our little film made it into a prety big festival in New York and then, with a distribution agreement it went to the Short Film Corner at The 2008 Cannes Festival. We didn't end up with any big deals in place, but it was still pretty cool! |
